I’ve been a bit tied up recently what with work and trying to get my own stuff sorted. So I’m very proud to announce the release of my FileTransferConnector component. This is a Flash 8 base level component to allow the uploading and downloading of files from a server to a users machine.
Note this is a connector so you’ll need to create your own controls to interact with it, but I’ve taken the liberty of adding a sample file to get you going. I’ve bundled it up in an MXP file so you just need to download and install it via the Extension Manager.
Currently this is a 0.5.0 ‘beta’ release so there are not help documents, however the sample file should help you get going. If you have any problems or questions please feel free to sign up to the FlashComponents-L mailing list.
