So the beta of the Flash 9 player for Intel Macs came out on the 29th of June. I installed it yesterday and have to say it flies. I feel really sorry for my PowerPC colleagues in the office now, as this version offers a similar experience / performance to the Windows player. I haven’t done a side by side comparison with all of them but the improvement is great.

I can’t wait to see if they manage to crank it up another ‘gear’ for the final release. :)
