With only 3 weeks to go until Flash on the Beach I just received some great news. The conference is almost sold out! They only have 80 tickets left, so if you haven’t bought yours yet, you better hurry as they are going fast.
It looks like this years Flash on the Beach is going to [...]
Hot off the press. Adobe UK are heading out onto the road to do their countrywide Creative License Tour. The tour consists of 6 tracks over the day in 9 locations (London, Birmingham, Cardiff, Edinburgh, Newcastle, Manchester, Sheffield, Dublin and Belfast).
So all in all a pretty comprehensive line-up of products. To find out more and [...]
OK, I’ll keep this short :D. I have 4 Pownce invites on a first come, first served basis.
Leave a comment below (I moderate so don’t panic if it doesn’t show up immediately). Include your email address and I’ll ping you an invite.
Deal done - enjoy :D
I personally never really get involved with online competitions. It’s not because I don’t fancy my chances. It’s more due to the fact that living in the UK most (if not all) competitions run by companies like Adobe are only available to residents of the US and Canada.

Surprise two for Monday. Not only is Flex Builder 3 on labs.adobe.com but so is the new beta of Apollo, now know as Adobe Integrated Runtime (AIR geddit :P).
You can grab the new beta here

Get the AIR file here
Here is the source
After all those presentations and massive amount of speculation, Apollo is now available on Adobe labs. For those who haven’t yet had the chance to try it out go grab it NOW!
At the moment Apollo is only available for Flex Builder 2.0. For alternative Flash content you will likely have to wait for Flash CS3 [...]
Well I’m back from my brief visit to San Francisco. I was there for a bit of R’n’R and to shoot off some more shots of Alcatraz for my image collection. Anyway while I was there I got the opportunity to pop by the Adobe building on Townsend and say “hi” to Mark Anders, Mike [...]
Well if you want to see a presentation on Apollo from Andy Shorten (Adobe) then point your browser to: London Flash Platform Group LIVE
We’re broadcasting now! (19:33 GMT 24/08/2006)
Enjoy :P
I came across a few interesting articles and documents recently and it got me thinking more about Apollo. As most of us are already aware Apollo is a runtime in development at Adobe allowing the deployment of Flash platform, HTML and or PDF applications onto the desktop. Thus allowing them to operate just like native [...]
