A common problem that is faced by developers wishing to distribute their work to their peers or potential customers is that of consistancy and management of the designs, works or ideas once they are in the hands of a third party.
It is fairly easy to dump all your files into a .zip. .rar, .sit or .tar and throw in a plain text file with a few entries in a ‘changelog’, bundle this with a license and upload it to a server and take a chance nothing untowards will happen.
However how do you deal with updates and changes to the files? Making sure the user is in actual fact using the latest / correct files?
